WHY? Cancer of the cervix can only be detected by a Pap smear. If detected early, Cancer can be cured.
WHO? Every women who are sexually active regardless of age or marital status
WE CANNOT do a PAP SMEAR if -
- You are pregnant
- Busy menstruating
- Had sexual intercourse the previous night
