1,000km For Children with Cancer:
The Cycling for Christ group was established in May 2002 to encourage aspiring young sporting individuals to reach their potential and to promote the sport of cycling. The Cycling for Christ group is a member of the Namibia Cycling Federation and has strived in the past to be involved in various charitable fundraising projects.
The Cycling for Christ tour for CHICA will take the cyclists from Oshakati to Windhoek over an expanse of approximately 1000km! This is the 5th consecutive year that CFC cycles 1000km for cancer in Namibia!! Over the last 4 years a huge amount of N$200 000-00 was raised!!!
*Kick off in Oshakati on 05 May 2009 and will end in Keetmanshoop on 12 May 2009.
The route is as follows:
5 May - Position Oshakati
6 May - Oshakati to Tsumeb
7 May - Tsumeb to Otavi
8 May - Otavi to Otjiwarongo
9 May - Otjiwarongo to Windhoek
10 May - Windhoek to Rehoboth
11 May - Rehoboth to Mariental
12 May - Mariental to Keetmanshoop
13 May - Position Windhoek

It is with great pleasure we inform you that the Cycling for Christ Group has successfully completed their 1 000km cycling trip from Oshakati to Keetmanshoop.
The cyclist appeal to Namibians to please make a donation to the Cancer Association of Namibia’s “Children with Cancer” (CHICA) Fund.
